Also our full support and assistance does not end until all equipment and  marquee structures are removed.

How to place a  booking to hire a marquee?

Firstly call or message us here at Mercer Marquee Hire and we will take some details including size of marquee needed, number of people attending, reason for function, location and date of your event, after we obtain this information we can provide a preliminary estimate within 24 hours. Secondly we will arrange to meet our customers for a face to face site visit where  we will take measurements to confirm your requested marquee will fit the area you have available. We will also discuss setup and de-rig dates plus any other queries or special requirements you may have. We are always happy to provide recommendations based our extensive experience on any aspect of your event.

After this we will assess all the information you have provided via phone calls and emails plus all the additional information we collected on the face-to-face site visit to provide you with a final estimate, this will  include all the elements of your estimate itemised so you can clearly see the cost of your hire.

Once you have had a chance to review your quote and if you decide to move forward with your booking, please get in contact with us. We will then send over your contract explaining everything in writing and request a 25% deposit which will confirm your booking for the selected date. If your event is within 14 days, we request full payment to get you booked in.

Congratulations now you’re all booked in – all there is to do is look forward to your event when our professional team will arrive to supply and install your chosen marquee. Please note, if there is anything you have missed off your order, we can add it on at a later date subject to availability.

Will my marquee come with walls or windows?

All our marquees come with walls as standard. We can put windows around 50% of your marquee at no additional cost. Both walls and windows hang on a curtain rail that can be pulled open from the centre and are tied by laces down the middle so all can be open and shut on the day of the event down to preference or weather.

I’m not sure if a marquee will fit or can be erected in my garden?

Get in contact today as we are more than happy to come and visit your site free of charge and assess whether your desired marquee is viable. We can install marquees on most surfaces including concrete driveways, tennis courts and many more surfaces with the use of weights and anchoring equipment. We can also install over the top of flower beds, steps, small trees and swimming pools. Our marquees are very versatile, and we can almost certainly come up with a solution to fit your needs.

When will the marquee be installed?

We call all our clients 10 working days before the day of the event to arrange a time to install. We usually collect our marquees within 3 days of your event ending. If you need your marquee erected or dismantled within unsociable hours, we can help with that too – just inquire with our team either over the phone/email or during the face-to-face site visit and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event of the client cancelling the hire after an order has been placed, the company has the right to charge cancellation fees as follows:
 

  • More than 28 calendar days notice – 50% of deposit paid
  • 10-28 calendar days notice – 100% of deposit paid
  • Less than 10 calendar days notice – 100% total hire charge
